MEET THE PRODUCERS
Pitalito, Bruselas and Timana, Huila, are home to the 96 independent women who are part of Forest Academy and the Huila Condor Project. These group of farmer women deliver their coffee to a facility in Huila, where the quality team receives and reviews it. This region aspires to create change and become a benchmark in the world of specialty coffee.
As part of the project, Forest hosts workshops with their producers focused on quality, covering processes, fermentation, drying, and cupping their own coffees. They ensure direct and fair payment, offering between 18-20% above market rate, with 50% paid directly to the women's account. They also host an internal competition among producers to promote and give visibility to their coffees and improvements, the Forest Silver Cup.
Through this project, they not only impact the industry and the lives of these women but also contribute to their community, families, and the overall progress of the region.
This coffee undergoes a process that starts with manual selection of ripe red cherries, followed by the traditional washed method with variable fermentation times ranging from 24 to 36 hours. Drying is achieved through sun exposure for 15-20 days.

Let customers speak for us
from 5 reviewsFast delivery, always freshly-roasted coffee, with the roasting date printed on the packet (although twice I thought it was the expiry date - I keep forgetting that it's the day of the roasting) and sustainable packaging.
I didn't even know it was decaf! Excellent taste, intensity and unlike other brands I've used, with this one you can really taste the various tones/nuances of the flavour. Excellent!

I recently purchased the Eccentric Ground Coffee from Magnetic North and absolutely loved it - the taste, the aroma, and the quality all exceeded my expectations. What makes it even more special is knowing this bag came from a roaster right here in Brighouse.
In the North, and especially in Calderdale, we’ve often been limited in choice when it comes to high quality coffee beans. To see a new brand like Magnetic North emerge is not only exciting for coffee fanatics like myself, but also such a positive step for the region, giving us more options to explore and enjoy.
The coffee is fantastic, and my only hope now is that one day I’ll see a Magnetic North coffee shop open in Brighouse.
Amazing flavour and aroma. One of the best artisan coffees ive tasted.
